Basic Coffee Service

  1. Setting up a coffee order

Never serve coffee that has been brewed more than 30 minutes.

If a coffee alfi is one quarter less, start a new round of coffee.

On a salver, place the alfi with atlest 4 coffee cups and saucers and sugar, creamer.


  1. Serving Coffee

Ideally coffee cups should be placed at the table. If not, then place one and refill it as soon as possible.

Pour coffee into the cup from the right hand side of the guest.

Do not touch the cup or pick it up. If required do not pick it up from the top always use the handle.

Do ask if the guest wants a refill.

Pour coffee until the guest signals to stop.
